 PunchLong before there were newspapers (as we know them) there were traveling troupes of performers, minstrels and puppeteers. These talented people spread the news across the countryside with their bawdy and not so politically correct puppet shows. They were the social and political commentators of their day, as well as entertainers; often creating beautiful and ornate marrionettes and costumes from whatever was available as they trundled along between towns. Deb honors the memory of their artistry with her own mohair Punch and Judy. She has created several Punch n' Judy vignettes as auction pieces over the years, but these are her first for manufacture by her own company.
