Ourobourous - TJDLDR

Release Date: March 2005
Artist: David Lawrence
Edition Size: 1500

Secrets:
Ancient Greek philosophers were the first to depict the ourobouros, a fiery serpant curled in a circle devouring its own tail. For them, it symbolized the cyclic nature of time. The word dragon also derives from an Ancient Greek word - drakon - which means to see or to watch. It was a dragon who, in Greek mythology, watched and guarded the golden apples in the Garden of the Three Maidens, the Hesperides. These apples were given to Hera as a wedding gift by Zeus. The dragon was later slain by Heracles / Hercules. 132 carved into the lid lip signifies that this is carver David Lawrence's 132nd piece for Harmony Kingdom. Look for David's signature acorn, and the fiercely protected applies within the interior.
