We've all wondered how Santa manages to visit so many children in one night. We're sure he's well prepared and pretty experienced by now, but Master Carver Peter Calvesbert wondered what could possibly go wrong. It seemed to Peter that with all those ponies that little girls want, he must have trouble getting them down chimneys sometimes. So the 2006 Annual Santa shows what could happen if a pony got wedged in. Now it's up to one of Santa's reindeer to call for help. The interior contains crows trying to shoo Santa away. Peter grew up in a house that had boarded up fireplaces and crows would always nest in the chimneys and occasionally end up in the fireplace. He remembers his dad having to rescue the crows. On some of the pieces, you may find Santa smoking a cigar as he contemplates what to do.
